This is amazing: Hiding behind the giant Macy’s billboard in New York is a small five-story building built by a competitor who bought the corner lot behind Macy’s back just as they were preparing to move to Herald Square. Even though the building has been displaying advertising for Macy’s for most of the years since, they’ve never and still don’t own it.

Amazing indeed.
